Potential applicant here with a few questions! First off, going by your rule of characters not being able to take on the denizens from their own canon's myths…my character's from a canon heavily inspired by Norse myth, with a smattering of Christian figures like angels thrown in, up to the point that they consider their world's heaven as "Asgard."
However, to my knowledge, the "gods" mentioned in the series haven't been named per se, and the only mention of minor figures within mythology come from incidental details like the names of items and weapons (Skadi, Lorelei, etc.), though they're not directly referenced or treated as anything special (i.e. "I named my weapon after our god Odin!", etc.). Of course, this may be debunked as the series receives new installments, but on to the point: would I be allowed to choose a denizen for my character from Norse mythology? Or do I have to come up with something else entirely?
If it helps, I'm speaking of Dept Heaven/Riviera: The Promised Land in particular.
And my second question's fairly an innocuous one: OOC to IC day ratio? I'd like to know the pacing of this game, as I tend to be a rather slow tagger.
