The island is divided up into five districts by color: silver, rose, lilac, violet, and navy. The silver district is composed of the non-residential districts, such as the port, shops, and castle. The rose, lilac, violet, and navy districts are all residential, and are where the denizens all live.

housing

You will be randomly placed into a house with either denizens similar to your own, or denizens that will provide the most interesting results, unless alternate accommodations are approved by the mods and the other characters within a home. You will need to place this information in your application if you intend to house with someone particular, but we prefer to assign random housing. Remember, you can imagine up anything in your home/room, but nothing to the outside! The houses are four bedroom homes that are painted the color of the district they are in. Here is the basic floor plan of each home. Here, you will see the listing for the housing arrangements for each character. We add houses as we fill them up.

The Forest Surrounding the castle is a thick forest. It's hard to get through it safely during the day, and at night it's impossible. The trees are mostly old apple trees that occasionally bear fruit, but are very tall. Animals roam through the forest peacefully, but they are under the control of the Rulers. If someone steps into the forest from the districts, the Rulers will kindly tell their beastly guardians to get rid of the intruder. So it's best to watch your step.  The Castle The Castle is in the center of the Island. This is the home to all of the Rulers and the Wheel, who never leaves this castle. If they ever left the castle, even stepped foot in the forest, they would begin to lose their control of "The World," and they certainly can't have that.  The Park Need some quiet time? Well the park is the perfect place for that! The birds are chirping and the sky is always blue. Located in the most northern part of the island, this place is wonderful for relaxation and maybe just having a little bit of fun! After all, those swings aren't there for nothing.  Training Grounds We all know those wannabe knights and false kings want to practice, so we set up a nice training ground for you. Located in the south, these lovely grounds are tailored to weapons of every kind, with every sort of dummy and target possible to let you get the best out of your weaponry. There is even a place for you to spar amongst yourselves, but please don't cut yourselves too badly.  The Lake Fishing is a good thing to do here, but you can only get the bait from the grocery store. While it's fun to catch your own food, beware, those fish can bite back!

This is the center for all your needs! Clothes, food, and fun are waiting for you at this lovely set of stores. Naturally, you have to wear the clothes that fit your denizen, the clerks will not have you dressing inappropriately in public. However, given that The Rulers don't think any of you are deserving of money anymore, you must use a barter system.  Ace of Wands The Grocery Store. Here, you will find all the food you can think of, and some things you normally wouldn't. From edible food to the wonderful ingredients for homemade potions, Ace of Wands will provide you with it. For a small amount of gold, of course.  Page of Wands The Fresh Market. Beside the grocery store, there is a lovely little market with all of the fresh fruits and vegetables you can think of! They come every day from the port, so it'd be a nice buy if you prefer to eat things that are more organic. Just watch out for those apples, they can be a little tricky.  Ace of Swords The Weapon Store. Naturally, as you live in a world with some pretty strange creatures, you want to defend yourself, right? Well, the blacksmith here will help you find a weapon that will be perfect for you, provided it fits your role. The Rulers don't take kindly to people just running around with weapons all willy-nilly, you know.  Page of Swords The Armor Store. With all those weapons around, you need some armor. Granted, the blacksmith is a young, new girl with no experience, but she certainly can fit you in some nice chain mail if you really need it.  Ace of Pentacles The Clothing Store. Need a dress for the ball? Need to look sharp for your date? Well Ace of Pentacles is your place! Our experienced tailor will try her best to make the best clothes for you to fit your role, and of course, how the Rulers believe you should dress.  Page of Pentacles The Shoe Store. Who said you could run around barefoot?! Unless it is required, we would prefer you keep your feet away from the harsh ground and, personally, we don't think anyone wants to see those weird toes. Our cobbler will whip you up a nice pair in no time, just make sure to avoid making him angry. He knows his way around those needles.  Ace of Cups A restaurant. Primarily, they specialize in the food that is normally eaten by the denizens, so, regretfully, some of you may have to eat what they always request. But don't worry! The chef won't be too mad if you send his food back. He only favors the sharper knives.  Page of Cups The Cafe. At this quaint coffee shop, popular among the younger denizens, the baristas serve you coffee and tea of your choice. If you need a quick potion to heal that nasty cold? Please, stop by here as well. We don't stop serving until your drink is perfect, so don't worry if one of them turns you blue.  Queen of Cups The Potions Master. If you need something special to fix a problem, this is the right store for you. Our Potions Mast--Mistress will conjure up something to fix whatever ails you, even if it's a person.  The Fluffy Duckling The Pub. A nice place for a man or woman to relax after a hard day living in the life of magic and weird Rulers. Here, you don't have to be anyone, you can join up with your comrades and even stay the night if you get a little too drunk to walk home. Just remember, the bartender has wonderful hearing, so nothing is private.  Empty Stores The denizens did run stores here originally, but the Rulers wanted to give you a fresh start! No cheating after all. For the time being, we have ten slots open, and based on the popularity of character-run businesses, we will allow more! You may also run smaller stores out of the home, but we need to make sure that they are perfectly legal endeavors. You can find the business application page here.
